A refined take on the standard Mythos Mjolnir, the MSM GE model takes it's inspiration from a classic vintage circuit, with two NOS Russian Germanium Diodes that have a forward voltage similar to the original iconic diodes.This combination of vintage spec NOS Germanium diodes along with all the tweaks and refinements Zach and Co. have made to the Mjolnir circuit over the years, delivers a smoother, slightly darker take on the Mjolnir. Continuing the elemental theme of our Au79 collaboration with Mythos, this custom Mjolnir sports the periodic symbol for Germanium on a matte finish aluminum enclosure with Oxblood Davies knobs and Oxblood printing. We are absolutely over the moon with this custom pedal, and thanks to Zach and company for making it happen!
Details from Mythos: The buffered output remains but Mythos has removed the charge pump from the circuit and this change adds a surprising amount of flexibility to the Mjolnir. The lack of the charge pump means the circuit actually overdrives more, so the breakup you experience higher on the gain is a little less harsh to our ears. If you want a bit more traditional "K" Style tone you can opt to use +18v power supply to increase the headroom and reduce the overall gain slightly.

Meets the Specifications for VW TDI
Size: 1 Quart Pack of 6
I don’t get too excited about motor oil; it just needs to meet the specifications for the application. This oil meets the standards for VW TDI engines (VW 504.00 & 507.00) and several other European turbo diesel engines. While this type of oil is locally available, it is very costly if purchased locally by the quart. There are plenty of other brands like Liqui Moly and Mobile One that offer oils which will meet the specifications, so pick the one you like. After some research, I found there are no great deals in terms of cost, all of the oils that meet the VW 504.00 & 507.00 specifications are going to be on the expensive side. However, Castrol is the brand used by VW, so if that’s important to you, there’s your option.
I have used this type of oil for several years and many thousands of miles with zero issues. If you do your own maintenance, you might as well save a little money and buy in bulk. Storage and shelf life of motor oil is not a concern.
